The Disney theme parks revolve basically around a large cosplay convention: actors dressed up like the characters.

I am amazed to learn there are even things like ArielCon that exist as real entities...

I know the definition of cosplay has been expanding (I refer to civil war reenactors as cosplayers, for instance), but I think applying it to paid actors with professionally-made costumes is streching...
