Were you inspired by recent news stories about "reals" (like this one: http://articles.citypages.com/articles/2008-01-16/feature/superheroes-in-real-life/ )?

I'm also digging Insane Jane, another comic with the same basic setup (but far different execution). Are you familiar with it?

Actually, Twilight Guardian first appeared in a couple of my mini-comics about 12 years ago (the script for the new version is an amalgam of those, updated and enhanced).

I've never heard of Insane Jane, but I googled it and it looks interesting. I'll check it out!
