Ah, man. You are a fantastic writer. So good. Honestly.

I can say I'm not all that interested in Scott as a character, but I think it's pretty swell that you spotted your muse in him. And you made it interesting, got into his head fairly well (love the non-emphasis on the 'wrongness' of his actions; very In the character). You've already proven to me your prowess in dramatic storytelling, but you've done it again here! This would really be a great DLC type thing for Scott; it actually felt a ton like a scene that would go right in-game.

You also have an absolutely delicious way of describing action and images. Just disjointed enough to drag on those suspense-filled emotions in your audience.
