Thanks for leaving a comment~ And yes, I most certainly had a LOT of ideas as to how my fic could end. I definitely went through a lot of ideas in my head before picking one. The truth is, only one of the drabbles is my "official" ending, but I wanted to leave options open so that it wouldn't ruin the mood of Encore.

It's Kris, Adam realizes, him and Kris on the beach together a year before the accident. Kris has a big smile on his face as he looks adoringly at Adam. Adam is looking back at him in just the same way--it was Allison who took the photo, if he remembers right. He remembers shushing the giggling photograhper and walking down the beach with Kris and her as they went to go meet with the rest of the Idol crew. He remembers the hot dogs they all ate together that night on the boardwalk. And most of all, he remembers Kris telling Adam that he values him above so many others in his life, and that he'd never walk out on him if he could help it..

Adam finds himself back at the funeral all over again, and this time, he does cry.

I bawled.
