Okay on Friday, I was asked into my supervisor's office and basically told that I was being let go, I had made some errors...yes...but nothing I considered a fireable offence evidently he thought differently told be to pack up my stuff clock out and leave. I think there were other reasons why I fired (nothing was documented, or written up) but

Yeah, I'd say it was definitely a sign.

And I wouldn't worry about the whole being fired thing. Times are tight now, so they are looking for excuses to let anyone go. The offenses you got called out on probably were not firable offenses, but like you said, there wasn't much you could do about it.

I'm wishing you luck with finding a new job and getting some unemployment compensation in the meanwhile. I don't know what the situation is like in your area, but my state ran out of unemployment funds some time ago.

Yeah pretty much everybody is saying the same thing...either that hot button was REALLY a hot button or they were looking for a reason to let somebody go...I was just convient. They didn't want to lay people off since 'layoff' = 'company in trouble' these days.

The second dose of irony is that my Roommate (who was unemployed for months) finally got a job at the UPS Call Center, less than a week after that I was fired from my job.
