Well another year and the Oscars came and went...since everybody is ranting I thought I'd put in my two cents. Academy shmademy, it's all either rigged or the people who judge always look over the real talent. I hardly see what the big deal is anymore with those awards.

You know I don't pay attention to the Academys. However, channel surfing cuz BBC World News went off and they have the only decent, nonpropaganda, ain't we great garbage about the "war", I did get in when Kidman won (That's for MOULIN ROUGE you SCUM!) and the 59 living recipients of the best actor/actress and supporting actor/actress roll call...the latter was cool. Then I watched The Heiress with Olivia de Havilland a half hour later. (grin)

Did anyone see Ewan at the Oscars? Was he there? Did he look fine? Inquiring Wolfies wanna know....

Last I looked he wasn't on any of the Red Carpet piccies they had, and I think Ewan's opinion of the Oscars is not to great so unless he was nominated I doubt that he'd show up.

Probably the biggest cop-out is that most people agree that Denzel did a billion better movies than Training Day, which he should have been given the award for his roles in, and only now does he finally win one.

Like Malcolm X, for example.

Also, I'm glad Russel didn't win back in the day, he's not even Australian, he's from New Zealand. And an idiot.

Also, I'm glad Nicole won. She's Australian and ded sexay.

I agree there, the one part I really did like was that Julia Roberts got to present Denzel's Oscar she had been quoted as saying 'It's a crime that I have an Oscar and Denzel Washington does not'. So yeah he earned it. I'm also glad Nicole got one finally.

And your right...Russel is an idiot and the biggest snob to hit Hollywood in years. *sniggers*
