The border made me smile; and I especially like the blanket draped over the back of the chair (what interesting wooden design btw) and the broom next to the fire-place :-)

I love your "Snape at Work" series, and this art is a perfect complement to it. Like everyone else, I adore the details: the tartan throw, the yarn balls (for knitting, or for a cat to play with? /g/), the Quidditch Cup, all the wonderful trim on her dress, her peaceful-yet-lively expression, the border, and, of course, the glorious shoes.

I want to know whose picture is on the mantel.

Details make a drawing, in my opinion. I'm glad that you enjoyed mine. I figured the yarn could do double duty. As for the picture... I wanted to leave that ambiguous so the viewer could decide for themselves who Minerva wanted there. :D Thanks so much! I'm glad you like it.
