I think you have a lot of potential with the whole Akito-Munetake-Luna thing. I mean, it could be something that messes up their dynamic and how the rest of the crew sees them, especially the side of the crew that has a thing for Akito. Kind of like a Nadesico divided thing. I don't know, maybe I make these little things turn into too big of things.
Yeah, I think I do see the potential there and that's probably why I want to use that angle. Akito probably wouldn't let go of the whole Gai thing as easily with Munetake still around, and he'd probably even still bug him about it. This stresses Munetake out (though not as badly as all that stuff just piling up in ep 17), and slowly but surely starts pissing Luna off. She's all like "It was a consequence of war, get over it" regarding Gai, and she wants Akito to leave her boyfriend alone.
And yeah, the crew sees all of this, and maybe the Akito-worshippers start thinking that hey, maybe the wussy pilot isn't all that nice a guy after all. Of course, some of 'em will side with Akito no matter what, and that provides a nice source of tension.
And you know, sometimes little things are actually a much bigger issue. You gave me some more ideas regarding my plot, go you!
Oooh, and after going through one of my playlists, I think I figured out the song Luna would be likely to sing at the talent show. It's called 'I am beside you', and it's from Key the Metal Idol. I read the translation of the lyrics again and I was like 'DAMN, this matches Luna's thoughts and feelings perfectly!'
