We're off to the zoo today with apisanthrop's daughter T. He's been itching to show me Houston and all it's delights. This is another perfect opportunity to do so.

Though from a conversation yesterday .... I may not be going back to Dallas quite as soon as I'd hoped. I'll have to do a bit of checking around and see just exactly what is what.

• Breakfast
• Put up laundry
• Wash the wolf blanket
• Go through all the mail and take care of it
• Bathe Nox

It's been a wonderful day.

We had planned on going out to where the car is and getting my shirts (I got three shirts at con, all three are still in the car because I was using them as a pillow *sigh* I hope they're still there) and random other things out of it but they closed before we even got out of bed this morning. Damn banker hours.

It's official!

I'll be in Houston this weekend. Saturday apisanthrop and I will be at AggieCon. As always I'll have my phone with me, thus access to email and yahoo will be mine. Sunday afternoon we'll be at a birthday party. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see my Houston friends at one or the other of these events.

Have managed to do nothing productive all day.

It's been a good weekend. Tomorrow I hit the net searches for a job.

We just got back from picking up lackland's "new" car. He feels better now that he doesn't have to depend on the bus or me.

Later today we plan on playing a bit of D&D and enjoying the results of wiccachild's grilling. So, with apisanthrop, gwenerfresh, and a couple of her friends it will be a fun and relaxing day. The perfect way to spend a weekend ( Read more... )

It's been a slow and boring weekend, which is apparently very good. I've managed to get quite a bit accomplished.

Saturday:

• Clocked 4.5 hours at work, would have been more but I was functioning (sort of) on three hours of sleep
• Got groceries for the week
• Put away two weeks worth of laundry (yes, I was procrastinating again)
• Gave the Nox Child a bath

Bracelet .... Found, by the amazing apisanthrop. We went back to Kroger to get the fair tickets since the service desk was already closed when we got there last night. By happenstance I parked in the exact same spot and my bracelet was about 5 steps away. Thank goodness for his eagle eyes ( Read more... )
