OK, so aside from that or a full retail copy of XP, you need someone with a bunch of time and patience to pull out all of the offending crud from the registry by hand, because anything less will leave traces behind that will only gum up the works further. You can start by going through add/remove programs and getting rid of unused or unneeded stuff, and that will help some...

I might have the patience, but don't have the time. Sorry I can't be more help.

As for time and patience ... I've been trying for 3 years now and I just don't have the patience.

I completely understand you don't have the time, school and such is way more important. And now that I have the tools I can handle it. Besides ... I think C4 might have been a bit difficult to obtain, I'm no Fiona. ;)

LOL My favorite character on an online game is a fire thrower .... she blows things up. I think it's a pretty good solution at times. :D
