Oceancat11 may not post here on LJ terribly often - her writings are usually found elsewhere - but when she does it's a real joy.

She brings me New York City things when she knows my heart is hungry.

She shares her gardens with me, not to mention her animals, via photographs and letters. She got me through some of the darkest days right after my accident in 2003, not just by squiring me around to physical therapy appointments, but by keeping my spirits up. She gives her time and her energy to splendid causes and yet still has time for people. She's a marvelous wordsmith in this family of markedly individual individuals.
