Kitty is one of the most steady people I know. She goes through life, even with her medical issues with a calm that even *I* wish I had at times. And the way she assesses and observes is just amazing.

Her love for all things in nature and the way she faces things head on never ceases to amaze me. Her blunt honesty and direct approach to things, and the way she rights makes her a delight to read each time. I never know what she's going to come up with next, and I always look forward to the lovely snowflakes that are her entries.

Walkertxkitty is a phenomenal writer. She shares her life in a way that makes you feel as though you are standing right there beside her.

Her love of the simple things is endearing. The way she loves is sweet to see and her love of the great outdoors is a true treasure.

Basically everything. She's been there for me during some of the hardest times of my life; despite having to work through multiple medical issues with only the failpile health "care" available to her, she still writes stories that I cannot. put. down.

Kitty is stubborn, cranky, contrary, and usually up to no good, which I find to be excellent qualities in a friend. Her determination could shame entire branches of the military, and she has a wicked and beautiful wit.

Of course, all of the above could just be my English-major bias talking.

What can I say about Walkertxkitty. One of the most amazing writers I've found here on LJ. Both fiction and her true life are fascinating, and sometimes heartwrenching. Her struggles are many but her strength is boundless. Respect is one word I have for her. Many would have crumbled under the strain of her challenges. But she keeps on going and remains true to herself.

WTK is a fascinating person. I love reading about her attitudes and experiences and only wish she didn't have the health problems she does.

Miss Kitty has a direct connection to my head more often than not and always seems to know what I need most at any given moment. She's one of the few people I'm proud to call family.

A wonderful, supportive friend, and pretty much the older sister/down-to-earth aunt I wish I had. She's not always had the advice I wanted to hear, but if I didn't do so immediately, I could see that it was sound somewhere down the line, and I can't do anything but love her for offering it, especially since I could never hope to give nearly as much in return.

Fran is a super person. She has always been "real" and does not act one way online and another in person. My goal in the upcoming year is to do what I can to get closer to her. :)

I am always struck by walkertxkitty's strength of character. She has an indomitable will to survive and to thrive. She has endured attacks on her body and on her spirit, and has come out stronger and wiser. She writes beautifully and has a great sense of humor.
