I've seen lovely leather rune sets on Etsy if he likes that sort of thing. Or maybe a pendant/keychain/charm of some sort made of stamped/carved leather?

Or I might be able to teach/help you tool something. Maybe a belt made by his lovely wife will stand out amongst the sea of others, or he'd get more of a spark of excitement about a lovingly hand made wallet.
