Squirrels are Evil!

horribly, nasty rodents! They destroyed three of my basil plants that were just starting to really produce and my dill that was almost ready to harvest and dry for my dill pickles. Horrible nasty beasts. I hates them and will no longer protect them from the cat and dog.

Squirrels are pests. Especially the Douglas Greys, which are also an invasive species. In England, where they have problems with the exact same invasive greys, they give you money for every tail you turn in.

Tips for protecting plants:
- netting over the soil prevents squirrels from digging holes to bury peanuts they will forget about until you turn the soil and find 6-month-old rotten peanut... stuff.
- plants that are sprayed with soapy water aren't NEARLY as tasty (try it if you don't believe me). It doesn't harm the plant and is easy to wash off.

I know the tricks...honestly thought Dill would be safe.
