Eldest just rang from Hawaii.

They're on tsunami alert after the earthquake (8.2) in Japan. If it eventuates it's forecast to hit the island around midnight their time, (about 2½ hrs from now) but they will be evacuated before then.

Fingers crossed it doesn't eventuate.
