Day 18- Plans/dreams/goals you have

My brain is fried right now so I'll make this quick, and I still have to study for 2 quizzes tomorrow.

-Finish NaNoWriMo this year. I might do YWP though and make a lower word count for myself while I still can
-Get better grades this year
-Survive the SATs and the HSPAs and other junior year crap
-get my license ( ( Read more... )

thirty day challenge, day 18, plans, dreams, goals

(...I'm older than you? O_O)

Hun, don't worry too much about SATs. Buy the prep books, and use them wisely. They really do help. Make sure you get acquainted with the type of things they'll ask you--AND KNOW YOUR VOCABULARY. I got cocky and didn't go over many vocab words, and that prevented my English score from being any higher. D:

Otherwise, Junior year isn't so bad. Just don't be like me, catching Senioritis early into my Junior year. /failfailfail

(I get that every time, lol. Yeah, I'll be 17 in about a month. I'm a baby.c:)

I think my brother has some prep books I can borrow plus I already have an SAT vocab book. My English teacher is also giving us a couple of quizzes a marking period on vocab (that's one of my quizzes tomorrow). In addition to all this, my parents are making me take a class. I'm just freaking a little bit because I didn't do so hot on my PSATs last year because I didn't understand the grading system.

It's impossible for me to catch Senioritis too early. I have to burn myself out first with school work and extracurriculars.

Huh. Maybe that's why I caught it early. I was in...three dances, two clubs, and an ensemble last year. Guess where my priorities were. 8D

You'll be fine for SATs. All you need is practice, really.

Haha, my friends say I'm an overachiever because I take hard classes, get good grades, and I'm in, like, 4 million clubs. I burn out quickly.
