(It would seem to grant, also, that the narrator was either as much a mage as the dancer, or at least susceptible to and able to see and touch what magic was woven, since she plucked the magicked heart out of the air when complete.)
That's what I interpret, anyway. ;) She'll correct me if I'm wrong.
