Random fun bits

I got a Craftsman workbench (with backwall, flourescent light, and power strip) from Sears for my garage! Last years' model, and because it was the last one left, I get the floor model for an extra $20 off, and it's already fully assembled! Whee! *And* I have someone to help me get it and get it back here, which is even better ( Read more... )

Craftsman Workbench! OOOOHHH, Shiny! Me jealous.

(I also wish I had the room in the garage for a workbench, and still be able to get both cars in. Sigh.)

Nifty.

Yeah, for me, I think I can fit the workbench, and just barely fit both bikes (motorcycles) in. It's a 'one car' garage, and someday it might actually contain a car...

But yeah, I'm pretty proud of the workbench. :) Yay! I can be all butch & stuff, right in my own garage.

Um, I've lived here over five *years* now...

And no, those boxes are still packed. In fact, I keep adding to them. When I first moved in, I did unpack every box that I had, except the ones that had books in them. Those I decided would wait for bookshelves. (The plan is to convert that big living and dining room space into a library.) But what with taking time off from work and all, I decided to put off the big spending hit of the room remodeling. Sine I went back to work in the summer, the plan had come up again, but now I have a wifely person's opinion to consider too. She's all in favor of a library, but just isn't sure that she wants it *here*. (We've been discussing whether we should move to another place.)

And of course, as I buy new books and finish reading them, the number of boxes grows. Not sure that I'd have enough wall space now for all the shelves I'd need, even if we DO build the blasted library. Perhaps I'll consider just getting rid of some of the books...

Nah. Who am I kidding? :)

I'm envying your workbench! And I'm sure it says something about me that I'm 34 years old and I can't say 'titmouse' without giggling.

Hee. Half the fun in sighting a titmouse is just being able to say it! Titmouse! Titmouse! Titmouse! :)

Birders often refer to them as 'tits,' in fact.

And they're very cute.
