well, how is everyone today? I just wanted to write a little something something because i haven't written on here sincerely in a while. Today i feel lonely. I have no idea why. For the last 4-6 weeks i have really felt this way and i don't know why. Maybe the fact i don't have a new girlfriend yet is dragging me down. But someone at work ( Read more... )

If you don't go out with random girls, how are you going to hone that feeling of being "picky"?

How exactly are you going to know what you'd like to seek in that someone if you don't see faults in others that you don't appreciate?

There is no rush, but then again, there is no time like the present. You don't necessarily need to seek people out, but don't shy away from any experiences however small they may seem.

Being "very very picky" is like judging a book by its cover. While reading the cover of Nightfall by Asimov, I thought it may be less than appealing. Boy was I wrong. It is now one of my favourite books. < / cliche >

no, thats not what i meant. I didn't mean go out and ignore every girl i see until i meet that one and only. I pretty much go out and have fun every weekend and meeting women aren't a problem for me. I guess my friend at work just meant that i have a chance to find someone special to me and i should make sure to be careful. nothing wrong with that!? :)

I think its a good idea to do things the way you are. I've been really hurt in the past and I didn't see anyone for a long long time. Mind you, like you I had lot of fun running around. One day when you least expected someone will walk into you life, and they may or may not be misses right but they will make you happy and I think happiness is the most important thing to have. One more thing I think its good to be picky it shows that you know what you want and what you don't.

thanks hun. thats so right. someone will just show their face one day and bam! they will hit me with thier car.! no, just kidding...it usually happens that way...but with out the car. ;)

yeah, i feel the same way about choosing wisely too. its all good, tho..there are so many nice people out there that its not that hard to be picky.
