All right, so status update on my Captain: we're seeing much improvement. He's active (by which I mean 'bad'), is eating and using the litterbox with decent regularity (also, this whole episode has found me unnaturally concerned and/or excited by what my cat does in the litter box, why does every illness in this house leave me talking about bowel ( Read more... )

I keep worrying that the jobs I'm applying for will end up having horrible insurance - Aaron's is awful in the same way your husband's is. I really don't want that to be a factor of which job I take, in addition to having to worry about whether they will want to deal with my health care issues.

Glenn's company did the same, but they are offering one plan that is their highest tiered plan which is similar to what we have now just more expensive for us. we are taking it bc the 20% copay would be very difficult with all of our current medical stuff v. the $20 copay we pay now (and $0 for Glenn's diabetes supplies and meds)

Information started to filter out early. I've got full on plan summaries and calls in to both "reasonable" options. Honestly it matters not whether your treatments are $4k or $7k or even $100920223k, once we hit $3k-ish out of pocket, we're done for you.
