Updated Cinna Recipe

So, I tried the Cinna recipe as written, but it was too vodka-y for me. If I want to do a shot, I'll do a shot. If I'm having a mixed drink, I want to taste delicious other-flavors.

3 oz vodka to one TBS vinegar mixture and (the muddled strawberries) was too much.

A little basil could potentially actually do wonders for this and add a little herby dimension.

As I have fresh dried basil I support this experiment and will bring some over at a time of Nu's choosing.

P.S. I will also bring the unused basil back home. ;)

Too much vinegar. Add more strawberry and fruity stuff.

In completely random coincidence, this morning I was catching up on NPR's Science Friday and Ira was interviewing a guy who wrote a book about geek cooking and the science going on during food preparation. He also spoke of flavor mixing and they made a recipe that involved watermelon and balsamic vinegar.
