Wise purchase, poor planning

Over the weekend, shogunhb and I stopped at a Gamestop and saw they still had their 'buy 2 used games, get a third free' deal. The second Gamestop we went to had used copies of Dragon Age: Origins, Red Dead Redemption, and FFXIII. Needless to say, we bought them. FFXII and RDR were both $50 and DA:O was $45, which we agreed was a great deal. We've wanted ( Read more... )

One of the happiest moments of my gaming career was when I discovered that giving Alistair the correct shiny object will nullify his horror at not one, but two completely unprovoked murders of helpless NPCs. Throw in some ale and it's a net approval gain!

FWIW, the Edge Card deal is actually only because GameStop corporate is terrified of the new Wal-Mart and its GameTrade inside. They're only doing that deal in this district.

But... Yeah.

And if you ever need to.. Nevermind, this isn't a flocked post. We'll chat this weekend :o)

Oh! And MAKE SURE you keep the receipt for the games. You can't get the disc replacement without the receipt.
