*Wizards: Magical Tales from the Masters of Modern Fantasy, eds. Jack Dann and Gardner Dozois

*How to Ditch Your Fairy, Justine Larbalestier Review here*Zofloya, or The Moor, ( Read more... )

"*Nobilis: The Game of Sovereign Powers, R. Sean Borgstrom"

<3 Jenna Moran (formerly R. Sean Borgstrom) is my hero. Have you seen her creative writing blog, Hitherby Dragons?

No, but the title alone sounds cool.

Have you ever played Nobilis?

Actually, no, I technically haven't. I've run one Nobilis campaign last year, and I'm running a second Nobilis campaign over the summer starting in six days, but I've never actually *played* in a Nobilis campaign.

It's my favorite system ever though. It makes me so happy.

"Hitherby Dragons: an answer to suffering" is a story about emptiness, about inconsistencies and holes in the cartography of someone's world. It's more than a little odd. Some entries are utterly amazing, like this, this, and this. Some entries are utterly bizzare. It makes a lot more sense if you read "What is Hitherby Dragons?" first.

You've cut through about half of the Vampire: The Dark Ages game books. WHat do you think now?
