Yay! The State Senate might just have enought enlightened people to pass it this time. I know that the highly conservative jerkwad that used to be for our district was finally ousted - I think that was the trend. *crosses fingers*

About time! Although, at this point, Iowa's much cooler than California, too...I mean, we actually *quashed* our movement. Fail. Go NY!

Well, Paterson isn't worried about getting re-elected, so he can push this hard. But the NY State Senate is...well...they are a bunch of dicks.

Paterson is also pushing for some budget leeway and the state senate has been firmly in the hands of the public service unions, it may turn ugly on him.
