I am very smart. I graduated magna cum laude, with a 3.66 GPA, and a 3.92 GPA in my major. I made the Dean's List six out of my eight undergrad semesters. I'm currently pursuing an advanced degree, and my advisor--one of the top scholars in the field of Shakespeare--asked to be my advisor. Asked. I used to have no problems with telling left from right, until I started teaching five year old kiddies how to play the piano in a class environment and had to demonstrate everything in mirror image.

I didn't learn to tell time on an analog clock until I was in the sixth grade and they were teaching us to tell time in Spanish, then everything clicked in English too. And I still have to stop and think when I'm faced with an analog clock.

Buy a pullover cardigan and a GPS then quit worrying. :-)

It's been a good thing all my life that I was born in July and my parents gave me a ring with my birth jem in it at a young age. It's easy to remember when the Ruby Red Ring is on the Right hand. I don't have to look too often any more....

I don't know my left from my right, either. when giving directions, I stand there, waving my arm on the side I'm telling the person to turn, saying "Take a... take a... take a this way!".
