And this is why we haven't dared get a tree since we got the cats. We were going to get one this year, but the way December is slipping away, I think it will be another tree-less Christmas.

We HAVE to get one next year, once Claire is old enough to be aware of what's going on.

(Growing up, we had a 4-ft fake tree.... which my parents ended up BOLTING to a low table so the cats couldn't knock it over. We also had very few breakable ornaments, and didn't hang them near the lower branches.)
