Really, why would anyone want to deHarlanate his rants, it's the rantiness that is the fun part! I mean, if you take out the drama and the handwringing you might as well be talking to Al Gore.
(It really is a really shitty deal from what i've seen though. They should send Harlan to negotiate, the producer's heads would explode.)
I found it interesting that all the writers' blogs I'd been reading during the strike have yet to analyze the terms of the deal. This leads to believe that Ellison may be right, and the other writers I've been following are pissed off but keeping their mouths shut.
Have you found any other analysis of the deal from a writer's standpoint? (Other than the WGA's "we are happy with this deal.")

I don't know a whole lot about the deal struck, so I'm mostly wondering how realistic the underlying premise is.
