So I don't post here too often (I'm found more often on Twitter until at some point there's a decent LJ client on the iPhone), but in one of recent friends' posts, I ran across an auto-post from one of the widgets that keeps track of your flist. Still lookin' forward to seeing it, too! I'd be happy to see a few extra sketches, or whatever you feel is appropriate, but I won't hold ya to it.

Thanks again for liking him enough to draw him!

I did like District 9- I was genuinely starting to worry about the the overall movie experience both from the reviews which basically said 'I hate humanity after watching this' down to the non-stop horror trailers before the feature, I thought I was about to end up in a 2 hour survival horror film.

I'd heard a couple of people hinting that there was something 'more' to the movie than the trailers revealed (which is true) but without spoiling it for other readers I can't say more than this about it.

In a non-spoiler vein, I was just about at the point in the film where I was gonna say 'okay, I get it- you've done the department of backstory department part for long enough, please get moving into what the film is about' when it started turning and changing and taking you down many different possible paths, which left what was going to end up happening in the end fairly well obfuscated until it happened.

I'd like to see it again to see if I missed any telegraphing signs early on that would have made how the film ultimately ended clear
