Law & Order has indeed been cancelled. I hate you, NBC. How am I supposed to get my Linus Roache fix now? Here is
Sam Waterston's statement about the cancellation.
Burn Notice guest star news.
In case you couldn't see the video I linked to yesterday, here's more of
Alan Doyle, Scott Grimes, Kevin Durand & Russell Crowe singing together. Make sure to scroll through the comments for all the Robin Hood: Men in Tights gifs. :-D
Couple bases their engagement photoshoot on Pixar's UP. SO CUTE.
I saw a guy in a parking lot a few days ago that looked very much like Mitchell from Being Human. I actually did a double take, then pointed him out to my mom, who agreed about the resemblance.
Jacob and the Man in Black: Lost Game (aka. Park Pellegrino & Titus Welliver, aka. Lucifer & War). Spoilers for Lost, but it's really just an excuse for those two to be silly together.
Look at
the adorable cast of The Vampire Diaries. They're just missing Ian & Kat and these two pics (
Nina & Candice, and
all the non-Salvatore boys). And because I can't help myself, a picspam of my favorite things from the TVD finale:
Ah, the brothers Salvatore--the threats and the banter, the frustration and the love. And here comes their girl!
I got you!
You got me!
::GLEE::
Jeremy/Tyler lives! If Jeremy miraculously doesn't fail at becoming a vampire, he and burgeoning werewolf Tyler could learn the ropes for their new circumstances together. I'm envisioning rough sex as well as some hurt/comfort. They're both also in mourning, after all.
Yay woo, we're on a float!
::Damon butts in, waving and winking::
Excuse you.
Do you notice how Stefan's expression doesn't even change? Stefan Salvatore: Being Unintentionally Hilarious Since 1864.
Anna is a Vampire of Action. Jeremy pretty much rejected her offer to become a vampire and practically defended the guy who killed her mom, so she decides to infiltrate the lair of the tomb vampires, play the evil vampire, and see what sort of mischief they're up to. They want to kill the founding families and anyone else that gets in their path, and Anna is so not down with that. John Gilbert and Mayor Lockwood plan to use this opportunity to use Johnathan Gilbert's device to smoke out the vamps, using the townspeople as bait. Don't you just love them? Anywho, Anna shares the vampires' plan with Damon, who spreads the word first to his Vampire Hunter BFF/other boyfriend, then to the rest of his trio with bonus OT3 hand-holding!
Caroline wants all her friends to be happy, and keeps trying to get Matt & Tyler to reconcile. Matt would rather pine for his BFF from afar rather than accept his apology. Understandable, since Tyler made out with his mom and then beat Matt up when he tried to separate them. He could probably blame his unstable werewolf-y issues if only he knew about them. The turning point comes when Mayor Lockwood gets a little physical with his son (again), wanting him to go home and thus far away from the impending vampire attack. Matt and Tyler may be on the outs, but Caroline and Matt are there to back Tyler up if he needs a buffer between him and his dad. Also, thanks Mayor Lockwood for only warning your own kid and his friends they should leave and not giving a care for all the other kids in the town you are responsible for.
The fireworks begin, and the device is set into motion. The Salvatores, Anna, Tyler, Mayor Lockwood, and the tomb vampires go down.
BONNIE. Early in the episode, Damon thanks Bonnie for de-activating the device. Only she didn't really. Since Damon showed a smidgen of graciousness, Stefan means well, Elena likes them both, and Bonnie feels a bit guilty for lying, she decides to help clear a way for Stefan to save Damon. The OT3 can live on. But if Damon takes another step out of line, Bonnie will be watching like a hawk and can take both Salvatores down if need be.
And now the shocking end to the finale. I knew something was fishy about the Damon/Elena kiss since "Elena's" clothes didn't look the same (TPTB probably didn't think viewers would look closely at her clothing when you could be looking at the characters' faces, but I always look at the character's clothing, and I took note of "Elena's" nice jacket and the different neckline of her shirt). John Gilbert finally tries to be something of a father to Elena, but it's both too little, too late, and he's barking up the wrong tree. Because when his fingers and thus his protective ring are lopped off and he is impaled with a knife, he discovers he hasn't been speaking to Elena at all. KATHERINE'S IN THE HOUSE.
