No! I got the doormat out of my system, thank you.

Shh... it's supposed to be all poignant and stuff!

*big huge relieved sigh*

“I love you,” I say softly.

Oh, Harry, you just made up for Ron's hurting all this time. (I know you've been hurting too, but Ron was trying his best!)

Another completely perfect chapter! This icon comes in handy so much!

You can use that icon as much as you like! I love it.

They've made their first steps to mend things. And finally, this arc is swinging "up" again. Did you know, that not counting the initial thirteen or so chapters (which are fairly loosely interconnected anyway) this is the longest arc in the entire series? Eight chapters, and they're all intense, and we're only just getting out of it! I'm seriously tempted to shove Fledging in next, as a kind of 'time passes' cheat, and pick up again when they're happy.

It's up to you, it's your universe. You could always fill in the blanks later on, if something came to you LOL!

*uses icon again because it's my favourite*

Oh, I'm sure there'll be a lot of blanks filling in going on! Very little that I write is ever "closed". But the end of the series looming up on me feels massive, and a bit disconcerting!

It's getting better and better. You really sucked me into the story and it won't let me go :D
I prefer the Queen Of Kitsch-version ;).
I'm really into kitschy eighties songs :D

*has you addicted* Haha!

Compared to her other songs (like Babushka and Wuthering Heights), I definitely like Running Up That Hill best of Kate Bush's work. But I really love Placebo, and their version just hits me, like a melancholy punch straight to the heart. It's so simply done, and the video (compiled from fan videos that won a competition) is beautiful and captures the real feel of the song.

Kate Bush talked about how the song was about the eternal struggle for men and women to understand each other, but I think it applies equally well to any couple, whatever their genders. That's why I picked a verse to header this chapter. Harry and Ron are really making an effort to understand each other, but they've realised that as well as they thought they knew each other, they still can't read each other's mind, or even comprehend each other's actions.

*squishes you*

*gives you Green & Black's to munch on*

We've got a lot of mp3s. We could probably send you some, or upload some for you. I'll talk to Emma about it tomorrow, when she's awake.

I am so in awe of you over that. I would totally die of boredom, writing 1,000 words, let alone 25,000 words of that stuff!

Ah, cool. I congratulate you on your good taste! :D

Hm.
Alright, I guess that makes more sense, though that last one was much funnier ;)

I think people would have caused me bodily harm if I'd left it that way, though. :D

Plus, there's no way to get to Tea and Apples if Weasleys are wiping their muddy boots on Harry from this point onwards. :)

True :)
This is why I'm not a writer. Looking forward to more :)

It's really odd. This was never planned as a series, then it was, then it was the series of indefinite length, and now I know I'm close to the end, and I'm feeling a bit at a loss already. It's going to be so strange to not be writing it.
