Very very good.

That puts an end to Rita's career I suppose don't it like you said.

Can't wait to read the next one.

I'd imagine the Beetle will find a way to survive (insects always seem to) but it will certainly make her an anathema for quite a lengthy period of time. She's more trouble than she's worth for any employer. And I like the idea of the tabloid journalists chasing her for a change. :)

Next one should probably go up tomorrow, if the second half flows okay. I've got about 440 words, and I'll want it to be at around the 1,000 word mark when I finish it.

That is a real guh! moment! Made me go all melty and awwww... Ron taking care of Harry is just so gorgeous.

That moment of reassurance is as much for Ron's own sake as it is for Harry's. In fact, it's probably more so. Since they began a physical relationship, Ron's been holding back, taking things slowly, keeping himself in check and letting Harry take charge. Now Harry's turned around when they're both upset and a little vulnerable and more or less asked Ron to be dominant. It'd be very nervewracking, and had Ron had time to think more about it, he might not have been able to do it. As it is, he takes this moment to steady himself, and to give Harry an opportunity to change his mind.

The description of Molly being all fierce in Wheezes absolutely cracked me up!

I wrote that in my little notepad while we were driving down to Sydney, and it made me giggle a lot. I think quite a few customers would think twice about making smart remarks to the woman who raised seven kids and iced Bellatrix Lestrange.

And Campester lending Harry ( ... )

Harry "wanting to forget" almost brought me to tears! I love that Ron just wants to take care of him, he is so adorable!

Hermione to the rescue!

I feel a little ache when I reread that scene, because it's very close to how I've felt on a number of occasions. Just wanting to forget, to lose yourself in something...it's a powerful kind of desperation.

I reckon Skeeter seriously underestimated Hermione, and the lengths she'd go to for the sake of her friends. And there's nothing she can do to retaliate - character assassination via print is out of the question because nobody in the industry will touch her now.

Lovely revenge their! Never cross the people that the Weasley's and Hermione care about. She deserves it and it's so satisfying to see her finally get hers!

Yay George for standing up for them. I love how he and Ron have got so much closer since Fred died. Not that the twins wouldn't have sorted out those badmouthing their family anyway.

There was a *lot* of satisfaction writing Skeeter get a taste of her own medicine. She's such a despicable character. She's right up there with Umbridge in my bad books.

Fredless!George and Ron are such fun to write. There's some more of their interaction coming up in the next chapter, and possibly the one after.

It's probably just as well Fred wasn't around or the twins might have been carted off to Azkaban for manslaughter, rather than getting arrested for assault. They love their baby brother, and they love Harry *like* a baby brother. The twins live by the code that they can say what they like to their brother's face, but heaven forbid someone outside the family say it, unless they want a solid beating.

*has no twin icon*

*uses Rupert icon instead*

he let out a sigh of relief, of release.

oooOOOooooo!!

making a pot of tea with unnecessary aggression

Not a good sign, in the TeaPotverse!

George had been arrested by the MLEs for getting into a brawl with a customer who got mouthy

Oh, bless!

And then bless blackmailing!loving!Hermione.

“I love you,” I whispered, my voice husky and raw. “I love you, and you’re mine, and you’re safe.”

What a lovely ship we sail on.

oooOOOooooo!!

Mmmm...*sigh*

Not a good sign, in the TeaPotverse!

I had to work tea in there, somewhere. I don't remember the last time I mentioned it!

Oh, bless!

Weasley boys tend to punch first and ask questions later.

Alright, I lie. They just punch.

And then bless blackmailing!loving!Hermione.

I've always thought Hermione has a healthy dollop of Slytherin in her. For someone who loves sticking to the rules, looking at her track record she seems to have a rather flexible interpretation of them.

What a lovely ship we sail on.

It *is* such a lovely ship. And the people who sail it make it all the more wonderful.
