You're probably wondering who the heck this is... I'm mod at breakprotocol, the alias community you requested to join. Being the curious person that I am: I was wondering how you found us, and if you happened to be a member of sd-1.
Yes I'm a member of sd-1 and I found breakprotcol through randomly poping around lj looking for Alias fanfic communities and saw that a lot of people from sd-1 used lj as well and followed a community link there (and also no I don't remember the specific user in case your wondering.) And your community has some talented fanfic writers and well I like well written fanfic. Thats pretty much it.
If you're concerned about the NC-17 thing I was born in 1979 making me 27 and apparently beyond the age of corruption ;p. So can I join? I'm really just planing on reading I don't write fanfic nor do I plan to write fanfic so I hope thats ok.
I'm curious if you don't mind me asking why does one have to request to join? I mean the only thing I can think of is because of the NC-17 fics but I'm not sure and I'm just curious.
And haha I'm so far from a math geek! I'm actually quite horrible at math but I do like random holidays and random celebrations for any random reason, haha :p.
Haha, for requesting to join, the age is the main thing and then also I don't know if you read what happen to make sd-1 think about permently closing but the jist was a bunch of serious drama and we wouldn't like for something like that to happen at BP. And also I was just entirely curious because I didn't recognize your username from anywhere. Writing ff is definately not a requirement, and I'm so excited that you want to join us! Hee, there is extremely talented writers... the kind that make me go, wow why am I even trying, haha.
ps: :( about the math geekness, lol. I'm pretty horrible at English and it's usually a one or the other type of them. But, randomness is amazing.
