Last night,something kind of scary happened. I trimmed cody's claws/nails and one of them got cut to the quick, this isn't just painful as it is but the bleeding it causes can be quite harmful to birds. I had one of those pen-type things meant for stopping this kind of bleeding but I was still worried about him for awhile:

I have accidentally cut my share of claws to short in the past. Usually, because the animal moves right as I am cutting, it happens. I admit, with birds it really is a scary thing. I am glad Cody is doing better...;)

He didn't actually move that much but he has entirely black claws so I didn't really know what was too short. D:

Black claws can be difficult, Noodle has black claws too...
