falls wherever it wants to go

watch the world drip
i watch the lights turn into floods

this sound
lulls me into sleep
or fascination

the sky
slips down drop by drop
sliding down fingertips
and saturating hair

walked into the rain
because i liked the way it fell.

..i like rain. today is raining. all day.

i always liked watching people with umbrellas... like flowers suddenly blossoming in the rain. although i've live in cities where they had no use because the wind tore their petals off and fed them to the sky. i prefer not to use an umbrella because i think the weather feels nice and the clouds... i want to see them

you beautifully describes perfectly ordinary things, as a talented writer. I've said this before?
I also prefer not to use an umbrella just in the summer. it's great to walk in the rain, feeling its coolness all over body, walk through the puddles. mood rises.
