Summary: Set during "Exit wounds"; Jack manages to save someone's life, but not the person he meant to.
A/N: Crossover with Dr Who, old and new.

( Upon finding that they’d locked him in the minor UNIT official’s office they’d asked him to “wait” in, Jack reflected that catching UNIT headquarters unawares with a surprise visit probably hadn’t been the best way to start off relations with them as the new head of Torchwood Three. )

Short of her meeting up with the Doctor again, giving him a hug and then proceding to beat him up, I'm not sure what she'd do next...

I can see her and Jack butting heads a lot, but also her just swanning about the place as she pleased, occasionally saving the day in a very matter-of-fact way, just to remind them how awesome she is.

Lack of time travel would probably annoy her no end - there'd be all these that would be so simple if only they had time travel...on them being on the Rift she might end up performing some slightly dodgey experements to try and sort out a method of time travel. She'd sort out Jack's wriststrap, but wouldn't actually stoop to using it, unless she was desperate. Hm.

*flails* Don't make think about this!

I really liked this. It's an original idea I've not seen Tosiko as Time lord before :) Also loved your shout out tp Fred at the end. Will you be doing any more at all?

I watched the Ribos operation especially so I could get that right. Glad it paid off (the serial itself was also rather enjoyable!)

You know, I'd love to see the Doctor's reaction to this turn of events - Jack saving his old friend Romana.

Delighted that Romana was alive. Delighted and terrified - it's my understanding that Eight and Romana III didn't part on the best of terms.
