I like this - I can see the 'you did ...' conversation going on inside her head that night, just trying to work out what and why and then getting round to 'fuck this, I'm going back to work.' It was a really strong and well-played situation (one of my favourite bits of EM/Gwen from S1 - and hoping for much more in S2!), she was so beautifully screwed up there and then trying to eat pizza afterwards...

(There's just one point where you've dropped into 3rd person. I wasn't sure if you meant to, but it threw me - para starting 'He doesn't need to know...')

Like I said, I really like this, and I know my tastes are far from universal, and that there's much more to writing fic than getting feedback, but I have to figure the general lack of reaction is the 'Gwen effect' - it doesn't matter how good the fic is, if she's in the header the silence is deafening...
