Thanks for taking time to read this version too. I had to post this one, because this was how the scene originally played out in my head, and I felt the 100 words one didn't convey the emotion I wanted once I'd written this and chopped it down to fit. I really appreciate you reading and commenting on both.

Drabbles are fun and a good way to start off in a fandom but sometimes 100 words can be restrictive. Jim's thoughts were lovely so I'm glad there was this version too.
