I think I like Tu Di Gong.

Maripo is vaguely creepy to me. Also, oddly, the last sentence of that one's description reminded me of the Pemalite ship in that one book, I think it may have been somewhere in the 20's, a Rachel PoV. Giant squid on the cover.

Bandara loves hats, and for a good hat is quite willing to let travelers pass unmolested.
