I don't follow basketball much, but I really, really liked this. I loved the whole mood and atmosphere of boys in Vegas. Great writing!

Yeah, this is brilliant, as usual. I love AI's and Nash's drunk conversation, how it's sort of distilled down to the bare truths of everything. And the dark, sad, vaguely sordid tone is well-created (as it is in most of your stuff). Really wonderful.
