"This is Dr. James Hetfield."

When Dean said that, and later? When he was humming Metallica on the plane? Well, there are no words for the popculturegasm.

Also, is anyone even bothering to watch LOST this season?

And here be the whining. Don't tell me you didn't see it coming. )

health, lost, supernatural

This season sucks in a magnificent way. What made you decide to watch all of a sudden?

I watched last season, too. Well. I attempted to watch last season. I watched it when I could, sprinkled with downloads and recaps to keep up with what was going on when I couldn't watch/download.

I still watch Lost, but admittedly with a lot less enthusiasm than before. Unless something totally awesome happens like Kate gets mauled by a polar bear, I really can't see myself finishing this season.

The only thing that makes me sadder than Lost blowing goats this season is our lack of national health care. It's despicable that in our country people cannot see a doctor when they need to. I was without health care for two years and it was awful. I hope you feel better soon. *hugs*

HA. That I would tune in for.

And *hugs* back. I've become a huge proponent of national health care in the last year. It's not debatable.

Thanks, hon.

I knew those deer seemed suspicious beyond just the mere manginess. And I'm sorry about the depression...must be something in the air, because I haven't been feeling that fabulous lately either.

But Steve tomorrow night!

Indeed. And they growl too.

There must be something in the air. I don't get depressed all that often but, man. Right now? Things seem a little grim.

Yay Steve, though! I'll be expecting a full report. And I'll tell you about Joe. What there is. Our mission tomorrow? To get him to call me by the right name.

*raises hand*

Of course, it's kind of stressful, as I have to keep fighting the urge to say "Aw, screw this.", and flip over to Veronica Mars. ;)

I'm sorry about the kidneys, dear. The fear of not having insurance is the only reason I stay at the awful job of DOOM.

I don't have cable and my parents (who have the Magical Magnificent Dish) actually don't get UPN. So, I'm woefully behind on the whole VM thing. ;) But yeah. It IS hard not to just flip right by Jack and CO. and find something that makes slightly more sense, like, I dunno, that celebrity cattle drive show.

You've had kidney stone trouble too lately, haven't you? Have the doctors told you how to keep them from coming back? Don't eat salt? Eat more fruit? Anything? Anyway. I've got indigent care at the moment, so all isn't lost. It's just . . . not pretty.

*coughs*
Well, I don't actually have a doctor, per se. Just the person I spoke with for all of 5 minutes at the Emergency room. Looking around on Web Md it looks like I need to eat WAY more calcium and stop drinking so much soda.

Interesting. About the calcium. I'll keep that in mind.

Thanks. :)
