i just squeaked with joy shacha this is so beautiful. it's a fanfic and it's confectionary - all the things said and unsaid, all the ways the characters just can't talk and in doing so cause each other hurt, it's nigh-tragic in its miscommunication. i love this story very much & i'm very grateful you updated. :D

I can't even decide my favourite phrases here, this is just so beautiful. My heart is breaking for Yuui, because he's hurting and he's pushing Fai away and he's trying oh so desperately not to lose him even as he's trying to make himself feel at peace with that prospect. And oh my god FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAi! ;__; *cuddles him preciously* He's so brave here, and he's trying so hard to understand what he's done wrong. They're both trying so hard and basically what I want to say is I love this, every bit of it, and I am equal parts squeeing and broken-hearted right now.

Fai smiles like the full moon - like the sun has touched his face and left him silver-bright.

You don't want to know how long three-quarters of this chapter has been sitting on my harddrive. orz There were various reasons poking at this fic was painful at certain points of the year, and I got wonderfully and gloriously stuck a few sections from the end, but guilt Kyra prodded me and today inspiration just flowed, so I finally got it out.

I'm glad you still like it and I'm so sorry you've had to wait for so long; I'll be good and not make it so long a wait again. ♥
