How is Kurogane going to get Fai to relax enough to do the falling trust thingy? Amd why is Fai paranoid about it? Does it somehow bring up the accident he had during his last hocky game?
I remember reading the first chapter long ago, and am glad you're continuing the story.

As for the trust exercise...the only way to really earn someone's trust is to prove you're trustworthy - it's a bit of a mix-up between familiarity with someone and pure chance, waiting for an opportunity to come about. Kurogane's just in for a waiting game, pretty much.
As for Fai - the trust exercise is just another example of his problems; it's the physical contact that's his issue. He's not the one doing the touching - it's up to somebody else to catch him, to control his fall.

I almost never read AU fanfics, but this one intrigued me, and now I'm really glad I read it!
Figure-skater!Kurogane is awesome. And imagining him skating with Tomoyo is just adorable.
I'm looking forward to the next chapter!

I rather thought the falling exercise would come up. It's fitting, although kinda sad, that they FAIL so hard at it. Seems a good metaphor for their relationship, but I hope they stick with it. I'm looking forward to when they can do that particular exercise without failing! *grin*

...And drat, you identified the metaphor. And there was I thinking I'd cleverly disguised its 'subtle as a brick' exterior with an artful ninja-cape... X3 No, I kid, I kid. They'll perservere with the exercise - everyone else is going to make them do it - and I assure you they'll get there eventually, although they'll probably both be half-dead and cursing by that point. *thoughtful* The course of true love did ne'er run smooth~?
