XD Kurogane never wins when it comes to Fai. And what better way to celebrate the new year than some KuroFai.

What better way to celebrate anything than with some KuroFai? Kurogane doesn't stand a snowball's chance in hell against Fai, the poor dear. X3 He probably likes it that way, of course - not that he'd admit it, but We Know The Truth.

Another beautiful piece, m'dear. You always paint such a detailed picture without going too far. You always get the feelings of the characters across so well, too. Fai being jealous/possessive for a change, Syaoran's mixed feelings at the gift, Kurogane's irritation and focus in turns, and Mokona's childish, 'helpful' glee in general - it all comes across so well and feels like the characters we know and love.
Probably my favourite thing here (Besides the sexytimes, because, sexytimes!) is when they give Syaoran his envelopes. It just...really brings home the point that, regardless of all he's done, Syaoran is not quite an adult and does need and want the love and support of parents - and that Fai and Kurogane really do care enough to provide. Well done.

And a sneaky, sneaky truth - originally, this 'shot was completely different. ;; It was only when I got to about the halfway point I realised that the fact it was Chinese New Year might have some bearing on Syaoran - of course he'd know about it, because he was raised in a country very like it. *cue much headdesking, and 'of course!'ing* As his importance went up the level of sexytimes went down - ending on out-and-out bedroom antics just didn't seem to fit the piece anymore. So...er...yeah. A not-so-interesting note on the evolution of this? *goes back to her corner to work on other stuff*

I really like the family dynamic of the group (with and without Sakura), but I honestly don't focus on it enough. (You know what I'm like - a new plunnie comes along and I chase after it with sparkly eyes going 'oooooo.') Too many fics, too little time - relative as I may find it time waits for no-one, drat it. The world insists on keeping to a schedule.
CLAMP really like Syaoran being Chinese - or, at least, pseudo-Chinese. CCS!Syaoran came from China, and Real, and Cloney (the second time around). Not that I'm complaining; they all look gorgeous in their robes. I've actually got a 'shot in mind that hits all the group's backstories - but I don't dare think to put it into my timeline yet, as I want to see if CLAMP gives us an official ending for the clones/parents/Syaoran/Watanuki first. I still don't really want to contradict canon too much - that would ruin my fun of being the-canon-that-isn't. X3

I absolutely loved it, and I give you a cookie for writing a "Kurogane strips Fay" scene, which is one of my dirty fantasies. I think I drooled on my shirt a little.

As long as their clothes come off I'm happy. *...offers you a tissue for the drool*

This was delicious - adjective chosen for the descriptions of all the nummy sounding foods and rather sexylicious activities - and I think, counting this time, I've reread this wonderous work...three times?! Addiction is healthy!!

Haha - I guess I'm honoured that you like it enough to reread it? ♥

x3 I like re-reading works I like. It's like reading a picture book for a second time - you get new images~

"D'you know what the sentence is for impersonating a naval officer?"
"...No?"
"Nor do I. I've usually scarpered by that point."
