...Seishirou, Subaru and Kamui kind of stole this chapter without my consent - I raged against them, I assure you. And still, out came the start of their tale. *gives up*
On Seishy's punishment - there'll be a little more on that in a later chapter. Spiders, as you rightly pointed out, aren't the only creatures to bear grudges.
...I can't say I'd want my first kiss from Seishirou though (and most certainly not when I was eleven). I like him as a character, but I've always had a soft spot for the ones who simply Aren't Quite Right in the head.

Ashura-ou and Ashura-sama still have undetermined endings - meaning I've got a vague-to-somewhat-clear idea of where I'm going and what's going to happen to them, but the details are still being ironed out. So - *can't promise anything there*

Yes, I'm probably weird, but I was fascinated the first time Sei-chan made an appearance in X and went to look and read Tokyo Babylon... and I fell in love with Subaru and Seichirou, but Sei-sama especially

I actually haven't read either Tokyo Babylon or X. I've read about them, so I could try and understand the characters a little better, but going through the actual mangas is something I've yet to have found time to do.

With Seishirou...he always struck me as a bit of a sociopath - he just doesn't care, or simply doesn't know how to care in the first place. (His upbringing really does characterise How Not To Bring Up Your Children.) Seishirou does things for amusement - and when you're rather apathetic, the best way of doing that of to get reactions out of people. Hurt/pain happens to be one of the easiest types of reaction to obtain, and so he works with it. Subaru is a game to him, but I do think Seishirou falls for him in the end - but then, what's love?

As for chapter length - the last one was stupidly long and it killed me. And this was about the best place I could end without going on for forever and a day (or leaving a cliffhanger and getting chased down by people with flaming pitchforks).

Uwaaaa? Where do you see bad characterization? Wheeeere? If it is there, I missed it, which means it would have to be X characters, as that is one of the four (As far as I know) CLAMP items I have not read.
