I adore the Dean/Cas dynamic, slashy or otherwise, so this just begged me to write it, even before the 'profound bond' was canon. Just goes to prove we were all right all along. Thank you so much for reading!

This was very nice - quiet and sweet. The soul!bond trope tends to stray straight into nc17 territory most of the time (not that there's anything wrong with that), but I like that this doesn't go there, that it's open to interpretation. Thank you for sharing.

Yeah, there's a fair amount of NC-17 soul!bond stories out there, and I generally like them, especially if they're well-written or have a fresh insight in regards to Dean and/or Cas. I just think the porniness can be overdone sometimes (no offense to anyone who has written porny soul!bond fics before--I think a lot of those are better than I'll ever be).
