Frank has selected The Naked City (1948), High Noon (1952), The Bishop's Wife (1947), and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three (1974). So the trailer calls Watchmen a graphic novel, but it isn't. Is it?
In my vocabulary a graphic novel is a longform comic. Something, say, 80 odd pages long at least (Aetheric Mechanics is called a Graphic Novella at 48 pages). Watchmen came out as individual issues, not a book. And while yes, most folks these days ( Read more... )
