165 ★ remembering when you were mine

Jan 15, 2011 23:05

Hi guys! ♥

I recently finished my first fic in about half a year. Set Down Your Glass, Harry/Clara, PG-13. It's femslash, which I've dearly missed writing (honestly, I think my last femslash fic was back in... 2007? too long ago, basically). Do please read if you're interested in Harry/Clara! Not enough of that in the Sherlock fandom ( Read more... )

you are awesome yes you!, writing: fanfiction, school, !public, tv: comedy, real life

So happy to see you update!
Happy New Year!
Hope new term going well, at least it's not as freezing cold as it was before Christmas, did you get back home ok with all that snow?
Take care! *sends green tea kit-kats*

Happy new year. ♥ Yeah, new term is going all right (I've got my AS mocks at the end of this term, though! *flails*) I did get back home okay-- my school breaks up a bit earlier so I just managed to avoid all that snow; I was pretty lucky. I love that you still remember I like green tea kit-kats, though it's been years since I've had one. :'D

Good luck with your AS Mocks.
Always think of you when I see Green Tea Kit Kats - I love them too!
Glad we've managed to hook up again.

I started school in England when I was 11; I've been here for five and a half years now. I go back to Hong Kong during the holidays, which is, er, very often. (About ten 13-hour flights per year, SO RIDICULOUS.)

(I just remembered to reply to this! Yes, I fail. XP)

Yep, they've started. I had two last week, I have two this week and one more the week after, so it could be worse. I'm just...not exactly amazing at revision. It's fine once I get going, but I suffer from my procrastination habit like crazy. :P

So I've got History and Maths retakes at the moment, and I'm utterly failing History and failing Maths slightly less severely. *sighs* If I could get out of the habit of cramming the day before I might be slightly better off but it never seems to happen the way it should. XD

*hugs* Thank you for asking, I tend not to post about school because I'm rarely very positive about it but just typing this has made me feel slightly better.

All the best of luck with your exams, I know you'll do brilliantly. <3

Hey bb ♥ Glad to hear you're doing well and that school isn't completely eating you yet :P

(What's your tumblr? I'm getting inconveniently addicted to it at the moment haha but it'll be good to see more old friends on there XD! I'm elaeye@tumblr by the way...my tumblr seems to be disproportionately filled with K-pop but I swear it has other stuff too! XD;)

Have you been reading anything good lately? I'm really screwed for school at the moment and that includes finding decent related texts for English...aiyahhh ):

There's not much on my tumblr; I mainly use it to keep track of other tumblrs. But I'm apricots on there, and I've just started following you. (:

I'm not really reading anything at the moment? I recently finished Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom, which made me cry on public transport. :') I need to read Frankenstein soon since I'm seeing the play in March. What kind of 'related texts' are you looking for?

Lawl, followed back. Took me one page scroll to see all the Sherlock Holmes and I was all: Yep, that's Kaze. My tumblr's not terribly active but it's getting more so...these past few weeks.

But wow, you're online? What time is it? O:

Will search that up o: Oh, I just finished Frankenstein after struggling to get through it a few holidays ago. Our topic for Advanced English is 'Belonging' which is frustratingly broad and encompassing...I've got 'Never Let Me Go' by Kazuo Ishiguro and possibly An Imaginary Life by David Malouf but that's about it. We're doing Romanticism as a Way of Thinking unit for Extension English so I'm pretty much hunting down all the Coleridge, Wordsworth, Byron etc. that I can XD

Haha, yes, the only tumblrs I follow are to do with Sherlock and Harry Potter, pretty much.

It's almost half-past twelve in the afternoon! On a Sunday! Of course I'd be online. :D

Hmm, do the books you read have to be of a certain... status, if you know what I mean? ('Status' isn't really the word I'm looking for, but I'm sure you understand.) Like, obviously Kazuo Ishiguro is like, a really acclaimed novelist. Have a Little Faith would definitely fit in with the 'Belonging' theme, since it's about... religion, and community, and all that. 'Belonging' is a bloody vague theme though, I agree.
