I think the kids think I'm crazy... I hope I didn't scare 'em.  They're college Freshman fodder. I don't think they are too intimidated by anything.  I'll have to whip them into confident little bastards if they hope to pass my class.  Most of them are just taking them for the credit.  But no one there really looks as if they've ever cared

If I might suggest -- should you decide to leave your current position, this city is certainly in need of all the assistance it can receive in the field of security.

Just yesterday an imbecile blew up half the government building and an innocent young man who is not terribly unlike Cloud has needed to abandon his home and move into the shelter offered by an older friend because without proof I cannot simply murder Muraki like the rabid beast he is ...because the situation is inadequately policed and inadequately controlled.

In any case. Rude, with your years of expertise in intimidating the civilians providing security for a major metropolitan area and its government, you would also be a more than welcome addition to our fledgling surveillance and security patrols.

I am not sure whether to frame it as a benefit or a disadvantage that you would be able to resume your partnership with Reno if he accepts my offer as well. I leave it to the two of you to decide whether this is a plus or a minus of the offered position.
