TM 232: Unkind

May 23, 2008 20:12

Is there a situation where it's appropriate to be unkind? This is an odd question for me to answer, because I'm a rather notorious 'nice girl.' I can't seem to do anything to shake that reputation, despite the fact that I know full well a good number of you out there think of me as a total bitch. A few of you are honest enough to say it to my face ( Read more... )

I'm -- not sure what else I'm supposed to say.

Did you not KNOW this? It seemed to me like everybody knew this.

Well, except Sally, because I figured her dads need to tell her.

And Val, because she's a kid.

And Henry Hellrung for some reason.

I'm like 93 percent sure Pepper Potts knows, though.

...

But...what about her mom? And who's Steve? Because I'm totally assuming Tony is Mr. Stark...

The world that Katie is from? Did Wanda make Stetins appear too?

But Stetin's...like she has a mom here...

You are hurting my head...

Well, she was adopted, obviously. It's not like it said 'Sally Stark-Rogers' on her birth certificate.

And I don't know how Wanda does it, who can tell with her? But she's sort of spontaneously invented people before. She resurrected me. Who knows what she can do?

Look, seriously, you can't share this information with the other Sally. This is Steve and Tony's problem.

I am so not about to tell Stetins that she's adopted and one of her Dad's is someone she's not that fond of.

I am not crazy, Ms. Grey.

...uh...except she IS a telepath...so couldn't she like get that information from me?

I doubt she'd know how to process it, honestly. Her gift isn't that developed, yet; she'd think she was reading you wrong.

And what did Tony do to piss her off? I assume you mean Tony.

Ah, okay. I'll keep quiet then but they should like really say something to her!

Um...the registration act? Just general Stark Industry dealings.

Stetins is very...idealistic. But not like Lorna.

I think they have their own stuff to work out, but at least they agree about her.

And, yeah, Tony knows Sal doesn't like his politics. Being Tony, he insists on thinking this is adorable.

What's Lorna like?

That sounds very much like Mr. Stark.

Lorna is...she doesn't see the dark in the world. She thinks the dark can be changed but some things are just evil, they can't be changed no matter how much you want them to be.

And Sally agrees with you about that?

I have no idea. Probably not. What darkness could she have possibly seen?

I didn't mean it like that.

Never mind.

Are you sure you're doing okay?

Stetins doesn't like Lorna either. But she kept calling her Polaris when we were talking.

She said Lorna's unstable.

I'm not dying. I haven't had a kidnap attempt on me. I successfully managed a full day in heels. So yeah, I'm doing okay.

What does Sally think she knows about . . .?

Never mind, I can talk to her myself at some point. Sorry to drag you into this.
