[Grune is out on one of her usual rambles when she spots Alice making her painful way back to the village. Seeing the poor condition she's in, she blinks, then hurries over.]

Oh, my, are you all right?

[lostinmyway]

[Grune nods back once.]

All right. It's good to share. [She smiles.] I'm very pleased to meet you, Alice.

[shadedsunlight]

[Alice is a little stunned. Maybe it's because it's a faulty and brief description of the reality of things, but she's never met anyone who has accepted things so simply. A bit of wariness creeps into her expression as she looks at Grune, but no, she's just smiling and it feels... honest.

Huh.

The smile returns slightly as she nods in slight agreement, motioning a hand onward.]

[lostinmyway]

Oh, yes. [She had forgotten they were going somewhere.] Let's go!

[...Go where, again?]

[shadedsunlight]

[There's a long awkward pause as Alice waits for Grune to lead the way before realizing they aren't going anywhere.

...wat.]

[It's only awkward on Alice's end!

She thinks for a moment.] Now where are we going?

[shadedsunlight]

[The pause lasts a little longer before Alice rewrites the location on the ground.]

Oh, thank you.

[And now she sets off--in the right direction, even.]

[shadedsunlight]

[Yay to movement. So maybe she's forgetful. At least she's helping.

Also breasts. Alice will never pass up the chance to admire an attractive body and dear god are those breasts amazing.]

[Grune is eternally oblivious to the ogling. Instead, she makes her slow way through the forest, humming to herself.]

[The pace is easy enough for Alice to keep up with. Her arm still hurts like hell, but it's not being as jostled around as it was during her blind stumbling. The only thing she hopes is Grune is leading them in the right direction.]

[She is, actually. Provided Alice doesn't get nervous about the occasional time Grune pauses and gets lost in her head for a bit, they should slowly be approaching the village.]

[shadedsunlight]

[It's mildly disconcerting the times they pause and Grune seems to lose her way, making Alice wonder if she needs to write down a new reminder. But they always start up easily enough. Still, she breathes a sigh of relief once the village is in view. No telling how far Community house seven is, but it's a start.]

[Once the village comes into sight, Grune glances over at her new friend.]

There we are! Soon you'll be home, safe and sound.

[shadedsunlight]

[There's a smile as buildings come into view, but also because Grune's cheer is infectious and her presence oddly calming. It also occurs to Alice she doesn't have a name to her lovely helper, but there's time to ask later.]

[Grune smiles right back, then sets off in more or less in the direction of CH7.]
